Dads Take Your Child to School Day is this Friday, September 26. Last week we sent home rock painting kits and encouraged dads, uncles, grands, or other men engaged in your child's life to paint the rock with their child. On Friday, we encourage dads to bring their child to school to deliver the painted rock to be added to our Men Rock Rock Garden. We will have four stations at the parking lot to turn rocks into and get a picture of dads with their children. This important day on the calendars of many schools across the US is to remind dads of the important role they have in the academic success of their child's future. We look forward to seeing many dads holding the hands of their children and signing them into class.

Wow! I can’t believe it is already September! The last few weeks of August sure have been exciting! The children are starting to settle into their routines and have made several new friends! During the first few weeks, your child has participated in a fire drill, lockdown drill, learned the rules and procedures in the classroom, and our three and four-year-olds have visited our STEAM classroom. Very soon, they will be able to also play in the outside classrooms. So many things to learn!!
I would like to thank everyone who has volunteered to be classroom representatives, Policy Council and School Advisory (SAC) members, and to those parents who have already completed their volunteer forms. If you would like to volunteer, it’s not too late! Stop by the front office or give us a call for more information.
I hope you and your child have enjoyed the first few weeks of school and we look forward to having a great year!
